Coupes De Printemps

Coupes De Printemps 67

Saturday 2nd of April, my arrival to the Orly Aeroport at Paris was not anything special to me. Well neither my lost baggage. I am getting used to it slowly čÖé Should I wait or should I go without the baggage? Coupes de Printemps was much more important for me than my lost baggage even though I knew I will be cold, so finally I decided to go to Linas-Monthl├ęry circuit and enjoy great event organised by CHAPAL.

Coupes de Printemps is one of the greatest events at Linas-Monthl├ęry circuit. It is not oversaturated by hundreds of cars that you do not even have a time to see them all. For one day event it┬┤s just perfect. Cars in the list make the event pretty prestigious and attractive for the eyes.

Reception of cars started at 8 am followed by the briefing. At 9:45 am there was a first parade scheduled for Bugatti Club. Coupes de Printemps was not about the static presentation only, but cars were divided into different categories so they could “race” like in the old times. Those with less driving experience were more careful to avoid any collision and finish safe with their babies and the rest, just “flat out”.

My favourite ones in the starting grid were red Maserati 8 CM, Ford GT40, Bugatti Type 51 or BMW 3.0 CSL. There was also nice collection of DB Panhards. I cannot forget a beautiful and fast Jaguar E-type or Austin Healey which sound really great. Just have a look at our gallery and find your favourite ones!
